It’s finally here: an aluminum profile for LED strips that can be used indoors or outdoors, and where you can either fit an iP20, an iP65+ or an iP67 Strip. The 10 feet interior recessed aluminium profile for LED Strip from LED Montreal gives a finished and classy look to your LED strip installation and can recessed. Give your project the professional touch by adding matching end caps to your profile for only a few dollars.

The 10 feet interior recessed aluminium U shape profiles for LED Strip are designed for LED strips of less than 14mm of width. These aluminium profiles are not adequate for strips larger than 14mm such as certain types of iP67 and iP68.

To ensure that you really get the look that you want, we have a selection of various diffusers to choose from:

1. Frosted: The frosted diffuser will render 85% of your LED strips’ light and hide the LED chips while your Strip is turned off. You will still see LED pixels when you turn your Strip on.
   
   
2. Opaline: Looking for a no-dot, continuous effect from a Strip with 120 or more LEDs per meter? The Opaline diffuser is what you are looking for! The Opaline diffuser will totally hide your strip when it’s turned off and render 55% of your Strip’s total light when it’s turned on. Note that this diffuser will affect the CCT of your Strip by about -215K
   
   
3. Premium: The name speaks for itself!  The Premium is the true professional’s choice! This diffuser provides an amazing light output of 73% (a mere loss of 27%) while only affecting the CCT of your Strip by only -30K. It’s the perfect match for our high CRI LED series as it will provide you with a uniform, dot free light effect. We recommend using our either the CRI 90+ 10mm COB LED (also available in CCT White, RGB and RGB+W), the 2216 – 300 LED/m, CRI 90+ Strip or the 3528 – 180 LED/m, CRI of 95+ Strip to obtain a perfect lighting with this diffuser. This diffuser is also great for our 2835 High Output LED Strip. You will not get a continuous lighting effect with Strips at 120 LED/m with the Premium Diffuser.
   
   
4. Smoked: This decorative diffuser offers a 86° light diffusion angle and reduces the brightness of the light source by approximately 65%. It is therefore important to plan for sufficient light output. Ideal for concealing the LED profile, it is intended exclusively for ambient lighting and is not recommended for RGB, RGB + white, or CCT adjustable white strips. It’s also important to note that this diffuser alters the color temperature of the light. It lowers the Kelvin value by approximately 350 degrees. For example, a 3000K LED will appear closer to 2650K once the light passes through the diffuser. This effect should be taken into account when planning your project.
   
   For a flawless dotless effect, we recommend using our single-color COB LED strips. As an example, a COB8 strip (900 lumens/m nominal) will deliver approximately 300 lumens/m once the light passes through the diffuser. For increased brightness, consider using the COB10.
