The Infra Red LED 24 key RGB LED Strip Controller is both economical and versatile. It allows you to control your 12 or 24V RGB LED Strips by remote control or by Wi-Fi without having to add an additional control module. This Mi-Light controller also has the ability to be integrated to Amazon's Alexa system but this feature is not currently available to our Canadian customers.
the 24-key Infra Red remote control lets you change the colors of your RGB LED Strips by directly pointing the remote to the infra red sensor. This remote control offers a selection of 16 colors in addition to allowing you to change the intensity of your RGB LED Strip. You will also find automatic color change modes.
In addition to the remote, you can also control your LED Strips via Wi-Fi. The integration of the Wi-Fi system is easier than ever since everything is done directly via the free iOS or Android application. You read correctly! The Mi-Light Cloud application allows you to run your LED lights from any Wi-Fi network around the world. Please note that the application is available in English only.
Setting up your Mi-Light Cloud application is simple. Once you have registered an account and entered your information in the app, just click on the + icon at the top right of the screen to add a controller. Then choose the type of device you want to link to your Wi-Fi account and simply follow the instructions on the screen. You will need the password of your 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi router to complete the connection. The Controller will not work on a 5 Ghz connection.
It should be noted that only the Wi-Fi function offers the possibility of grouping several controllers to use them in Multi Zone mode. It is not possible to group or Zones on the IR remote control.
This controller has a maximum total capacity of 4 amps at 12V or 24V. In short, here are the possible arrangements for this controller.
