The Y shape LED Strip splitter is also excellent to power a 10 meter LED Single Color 5050 or 3528 Strip bundle from the middle, this way you can use 5 meters left and 5 meters right of your dimmer! The 3-way splitter is great for custom setups and allows you to even out the power distribution if you're installing 3 pieces of strip on the same circuit.
