Enhance your backlighting projects with our set of 50 IP68 5050 RGB (Red-Green-Blue) LED modules. Designed for versatility and vibrant color, these modules require a controller to change colors. The controller mixes the Red-Green-Blue to produce an almost infinite number of colors. We recommend the FUT025 kit for a single system or the FUT038 multi-zone system for controlling multiple systems with the same remote (FUT092). You can link up to 50 LEDs in a row using our recommended 12V 60W power supply (Product Code: PWR12V5A for indoor applications or 12V5AETLPSU for outdoor usage).
These self-adhesive modules come with a mounting ring for optional screw installation (screw number 4 is preferred). While suitable for outdoor use, they must be sheltered inside a light box or channel letters, as they are not meant to be exposed to the elements. Please refer to the technical sheet for proper usage guidelines.
These RGB modules are cURus certified as a component for signage, making them suitable for both Canadian and U.S. markets. Note that they do not produce white light and can be cut to fit various project sizes. If your project requires fewer than 50 modules, simply use the number you need. To calculate the power required for your setup, note that each module uses approximately 1.2 watts. For instance, 10 modules would need a 12-watt power supply.
