Achieve a sleek, thin (8mm wide and 2mm thick) linear effect with the continuous (dot less) lighting of LED Montreal’s COB LED Strip. UL certified for use in Canada and the United States, this COB LED Strip is available in various shades of white: 2700K, 3000K (Warm White), 3500K (Soft White), 4000K (Natural White), and 5000K (Daylight). You can cut your thin COB Strip every 50mm and solder extension wires as shown in the product images. No quick connector is available for the 8mm COB. The strip is 8m long and comes with a DC connector for a plug-in transformer at one end and a 150mm cable at the other end.

This COB LED Strip is ideal for places where a thin profile is required. When combined with the LUX710 and its Premium Diffuser, you will achieve a linear lighting effect of less than 6mm thick. It pairs perfectly with the LUX710 because this LED emits no heat, allowing the thin profile to deliver optimal performance for years.

This professional-grade COB product features a 3oz copper printed circuit board, which provides better light consistency and superior heat dissipation. Its high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of over 90 makes it a top choice for the discerning customer. The COB LED Strip consumes 10W per meter at 24V DC, with a recommended 12W/m for optimal performance.

Given its low power consumption of 12 watts per meter, the UL certification and existing electrical codes allow you to connect up to 8 meters of this strip to the same 96-watt transformer.

The 8mm COB LED Strip is intended for indoor use only in dry locations. To maximize the lifespan and the COB LED light, we recommend that you affix it to an aluminum surface to properly dissipate its heat. Installing this product on a wood or gypsum surface may affect its performance and lifetime of the product.
